The Free Spirit Recreation (FSR) Kali is a compact fold-out hard shell rooftop tent for two to three people, made for short-bed racks, Tacomas and mid-size SUVs. Its aluminum shell and dual-hinge pop-up roof pair a small footprint with a full 82" sleeping length.

Fold-out rooftop tents earn their fans for one reason: more sleeping space per inch of roof footprint. But the tradeoff is usually the shell. Most fold-out competitors protect their designs with fiberglass or fiber-reinforced plastic - materials that flex under road vibration, develop stress cracks at hardware points and corners over time, and require gelcoat maintenance to stay sealed. Aluminum doesn't. The Kali's hard shell won't crack, won't blister, and won't need resurfacing after a few seasons of hard use. It's the more durable shell choice in a category that usually doesn't offer it.

We offer free standard shipping on rooftop tents (and similar large gear) to addresses we can deliver to in the contiguous United States.
Where we don’t ship
We do not currently ship to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, or U.S. Armed Forces military bases.
How freight delivery works
Rooftop tents usually ship by freight truck. Delivery is usually curbside. You may need help moving the tent from the delivery point.
The carrier will usually call to set a delivery appointment. Please use a real street address (no PO boxes) and a phone number where we can reach you. An adult may need to be present to sign.
Inspect the carton before signing; note any damage on the delivery receipt and contact us as soon as possible with photos.

Shipping timing
When in stock, orders are generally fulfilled within about 3 business days. Delivery times are estimates from the ship date. Large items may ship by freight and may require you to be present at delivery.
Returns
Change-of-mind return requests must be made within ten (10) business days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in sellable condition. Approved returns incur a 15% restocking fee of the total order; you are responsible for return shipping. Contact RoofTentPro for written authorization before returning anything.
Delivery damage
Photograph damage, have the driver record it on the delivery paperwork, and contact us immediately. If damage is significant, you may refuse delivery while we coordinate next steps.
Warranty
Qualifying manufacturing defects are generally covered by a two-year limited manufacturer warranty. Contact RoofTentPro to begin a claim. The customer pays warranty shipping. Aircore mattresses, clearance products, and commercial use are excluded.
